And once you talk about civil society to provoke some, in their opinion, civil society is only a conduit for the production of money, although reality says something else, civil society works in response to needs, does not seek profit, wealth or affluence, and civil society actor is as we describe in a lot of our sessions is the Reverend who does not hesitate to the church, in the sense that he is a volunteer and has charitable and service behavior and he is aimed at the common good.
It means that those who work in civil society have to carry the values of civil society that we have seen in our lines above. But why this perception by people and followers to see civil society like this is due to:
-The role of international organizations in the humanitarian and civil fields operating in our regions these organizations may not have brought us a model of success for capacity-building from other regions, such as Bosnia, for example, in our regions, they lured some by bragging that they were civil society without working on themselves and building their capacities and refining Skills.
-The role of organizations in other regions, which supposed to be asked for two objectives:
First: Work on the local project to refine skills and build capacity to finally get a group of leaders and through them the image of the civil society will appear but what happened is that these organizations tried to open their godfather in an area and one of the qualities of this godfather is the possibility of photographing footage of images and sending them to the sponsor.
Second: Implementation of the project on the ground to reflect positively on the target group.
Often, these organizations did not respond to needs but nepotism played a significant role in performance.
To say here that our regions that have been just emerged from destruction in all respects are in dire need of capacity-building for actors and civil society workers, and this is done through two windows:
The first is for the organization wishing to work in our regions to enhance the position of the actor, not to distort it, in order to allow the actors and the staff to be trained. Secondly, they must rely on integrity and responsiveness to the needs of the people and the realities of the situation.
